Connie Parker-Dhinakaran PCC

Connie grew up locally and has been a member of the congregation for a number of years. She served as Church Warden in 2025-6 and was elected to the PCC in 2026.

Justin Walford Church Warden

Justin has lived near the church for many years and joined the congregation in the last couple of years. He was elected Church Warden in 2025.

James Cunningham PCC Treasurer and Deanery Synod representative

James has worshipped at St Michael's Wandworth Common since the 90's and took on his current role here in 2018. He was elected to the Deanery Synod in 2026.

Fiona Holmer PCC and PSO

Fiona has lived locally for many years and has been part of this congregation for about 6 years. She served as the PCC Secretary 2025-6. Fiona is also one of our Parish Safeguarding Officers.

Ebenezer Appiagyei PCC

Ebenezer and his family began worshipping here after lockdown. Ebenezer preaches at St Michael's from time to time. He has served on the PCC since 2022.

Tom Holmer Licenced Lay Reader

Tom was licensed as a lay reader in the diocese of Southwark in 2022 after a three year course of study. He regularly preaches and leads services.

Dr Mike Bankole PCC

Mike has lived close to the church since he was a boy, but only joined the congregation in 2022. He was elected to the PCC in 2023 and he preaches from time to time.

Lara Haggar PCC

Lara joined this church in 2018 and has run the Glass Door shelter here in the winter since 2022. She was elected to PCC in 2023.

John Babalola Church Warden

John joined SMWC in 2024 and serves at Messy Church as well as in the 20's and 30's group. He was elected Church Warden in 2026.

Sherene Williams PCC

Sherene and her children live in the parish and all serve at Messy Church. They have been part of this church since 2022. Sherene was elected to the PCC in 2026.

Kristian Noll PCC

Kristian plays a leading role in the 20's and 30's group, and serves at Glass Door. He joined SMWC in 2023. He was elected to the PCC in 2026.

Mark Horley PCC Secretary

Mark joined the St Michael's Community Gospel Choir in 2021 and then the congregation, various teams of volunteers and now the PCC. He was elected on to the PCC in 2023 and became Secretary in 2026.

Sarah Taylor Parish Project Manager (P/T) and PSO

Sarah has been the Parish Projects Manager since 2019 and has overseen the transformation of the church building into a space that is heated by green electricity and usable in response to the needs of the community. She works Monday - Thursday in school term time.

Janet Lindsey Bookings Administrator (P/T)

Janet has been part of the congregation since 2021 and became a part time staff member in 2023. Contact Janet about using the church or halls for parties, one off events, and for regular repeat bookings too.

Johan Dhinakaran Children's group leader (vol)

Johan serves by leading the children's group on Sundays once a month.

Jo Sykes Sparkle Manager (P/T)

Jo began managing Sparkle in 2024 and brings her love of people of all ages and creative flare to play in every session.

Sally Newman Children & Families Worker (P/T)

Sally joined the team in 2025 to build our Messy Church and to work with local schools and families.

Rev Tiffany-Alice (Tif) Ewins Vicar

Tif has been at SMWC since 2017. She has lived in the area since 1997 and her four children have all been to or are still at local schools.
